Apply for a travel document and apply for US visa. You can collect your passport but you are advised not to renew or travel with your home country passport.Best of luck

Security check started September 24th. My MP made a HARD inquiry on my case and the information was provided. Someone said it take about 1 month to complete security check, I don’t know how true that is’ Does anyone have any idea?

Do not believe their feedback. Your security check was done at least 2 years ago. If the officer desires, he/she will give you the final decision tomorrow. They just play games without any honesty or transparency.
It's impossible for any body to become a protected person from the far beginning if he didn't pass the security check.

Hey guys’ I have just been informed that I passed criminality assessment and the security check started on the 24th September. Does anyone know how long this security check last? I applied for PR June 22 2022.

I just found out a few days ago when my MP called IRCC that my pr application is non-routine. This is my timeline

is anyone on this thread experiencing this or have experienced this and gotten there PR. How long did it take after eligibility passed?
