Not but I am not sure. People here said to me its only required that time when you are applying for the PR

Are there any examples? What's the major issue that imm officer would've mentioned?
Would be helpful to know the reasons why.

Do you know when I can expect AOR if I applied at 1.56pm on May 6 under IG With the current processing speed? My brother is getting married in December, I want to surprise him with my presence. I haven't been home for more than 3 years now.

There is no implied status for PR applications. You will need to apply for another work permit or for a visitor record to stay legally in the country. If you apply for work permit or visitor record at least 30 days before your current permit expires then you will be on implied status until you get a decision on that application.

TR to PR is also not eligible for a Bridge Permit right now but some people have stated that on their AOR there's a note saying that Bridge Permit may become available to us in the future.

IRCC mentioned they aim to process 40,000 applications by the end of this year. I put my application around 10:45 pm on May 6th and the count was 33,000. I am guessing yours will be processed by the end of this year of January of next year as May 7th applications were around 40,000.

Never apply from Quebec in Tr to PR or Express entry. They will give you a VIP check for everything.

I applied at 12.09 under the IG stream. got AOR on 9th June. Medicals Passed on 24th June. Now criminality check started. Background and Eligibility didn't start. No one asked for PCC yet. I sent them via web form but no response.

conclusion - move out from Quebec before applying PR for the federal government.
