Guys do you know how the process of refunding works?

I just traveled outside and came back. condition of TR to PR, time of application, and time of approval you have to be in Canada. in-between time you can go out and come back

Thank you for your reply….but what if I am not in Canada by the time of approval …will my application be rejected or my file will be on hold ?

Its been more thn week m getting this messg. But nothing so far. Even there are 3 other people in my telgrm group who r getting this mssg nd its been more than month for some.

Interestingly, I got the same message for about a week and later I was able to link my application.

I think I saw this (on my screen) for the first time. My submission confirmation letter was sent at 12:58 PM EST on May 6 (for IG ENG). Counter would be about 10,000.

My opinion is that you don’t specifically need to be in Canada at the time of your approval. It’s just that the next steps of processing differ based on if you’re in or out of the country. My opinion only, don’t bring out the knives guys please.

it shouldn't. If you're still unable to link it, try opening a new CIC account and linking it there. Might work. Keep us updated gl!!

I know you would be right too. as per the scenario officers processing files are not fixative about the detail of the condition. but it would become a question of IF... that's huge risk
This is the line of condition on public policy released on 12th April: -

1. Reside in Canada with valid temporary resident status (or be eligible to restore their status) and be physically present in Canada at the time the application for permanent residence is received and when the application is approved;

CEC applicants do not have this condition for express entry... thus if their applicant is outside Canada they can request PPR to be issued instead of Uploading photos into online recently launched PR portal. but, for us, they have the right to refuse. you will be at the officer's discretion if this situation arose.

Some did, takes anywhere between 1-4 weeks or longer.
