Hi, today I received a weird ghost update in my account. The background check status turned to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." from "We are processing your background check, we will send you a message if we need more information"
Does anyone know what could this mean?

I went to Service Canada today for Biometrics and they did not click any photo just fingerprints. Is it normal? I forgot to ask.

You may check the instruction in the request letter. They may request only fingerprints, or both .

It always says for Photograph and fingerprint together... the desk officer at service Canada said we are not taking photos due to COVID19 if they want a photograph they will ask you... if someone had a different experience please let us know.

How long was your studies? 1 year or 2 year? Also did you already have job offer when you applied?

Hey guys,

i tried linking application with uci and family name it said it could not found any applications because entered info did not match there record

when i tried with family name, date of birth date, given it said it can take 24 hours to enter into system.
I don't if it is normal with all of you as well

I have been following this form daily, and I have not seen anyone getting copr with a dependent. Can someone tell me if anyone got with a dependent, regardless if inland or outland. I got my AOR begging of August, medical passed mid August and since than nothing.

It may happen when IRCC are working on your application.
Otherwise, only after AOR.
