Hello guys,
Just to give you a quick update. I received my AOR on Monday 14th and I submitted an AOR that very same day to correct some mistakes that I had previously made. Today I got an answer saying that they had created the notes on my profile for the immigration officer to see.
So, you CAN update your profile but only AFTER you receive your AOR. You better start preparing your new updated documents for those of you who made a mistake.
Best luck to all of you.
Thank you for sharing the information.

Is 1 year certificate enough to apply for this program? My program was 12 months and is a business administration certificate.

Hey,
I’m really sorry this really confusing for me. I don’t really understand these requirements clearly, there is just too much. So it is enough ?

Anyone received AOR under ESSENTIAL WORKERS stream?
First of all sorry for posting this thread here , but as people here already have work permits and experience about this application thats the reason I am posting it here .today my frnd got refusal for pgwp because of two part time semsters .
She provided explanation letter and email screen shot from college records that she was not able to pick mandatory subject ( program)in full semster becoz that subject reached maximum spots and the she have to pick that one alone in next sem and further that program has second part as well (Using BIS another program), so to meet graduation requirements she had to pick that one also alone in last sem . She explained everything with college email record but still they refused . What she can do further? Reapply or LMIA .and again sorry for posting here.status expiring on 31 july 2021.
I think the best way will be asking a professional help (by a lawyer).
Yeah, but as you know AOR is not screen by a human!
AOR only means your application is about to screen by a human!!
So explain to me why the hell the computer or AI technology in Canada is so slow.
And explain to me why all my express entry pals over a dozen of them received AORs on the same or next day after they submitted their application.
I got no love in your bro, no love.
I noticed in this forum that people are crazy impatient for receiving AOR. But the most important thing to remember is "this is all about PR" and it takes time.
Officers are human beings not computer you cannot except all applications to be processed in one or two months. After all, it is pr application they are required to check each and every thing. I request everyone to be patient so that everybody gets as much as productive information from this forum or relevant questions. Please be positive at this time. We never imagined that students will also get that chance to apply for PR but we did get the chance. Whatever is going on it was not imagined by anyone. Now it is happening people still wish more and more. Be thankful guys.
Keep sending and receiving good vibes.
everything will be fine and fast.
Thank you,
Let's celebrate Zero AOR Day, woohoo!

Truth is, this new policy TR - PR is a Favour from the government to many people. Honestly, IRCCcan decide to take as much time as they want and there is nothing anyone can do about it. It is disheartening but that is the reality. That is why it is called a public policy.
If anyone is not satisfied or feels the TR - PR is too slow for them, they can try CEC, no one is stopping them. Life is a choice, we all made our choices!

Wow, look what a favour that the policy/government have offered us:
Paying $1135 on application alone + $355+ on medical exam which are basically non-sense exams and keeping the lucrative immigration GP and labs survives + $300+ IELTS/CELPIP exam and for someone taking multiple times that's a loot + optional thousands on immigration consultant.
It seems like man you got too much money in your pocket, why don't you share some with us or donate to Canadian gov?
You think anyone has a choice between CEC and TR to PR? Us international students can barely find works here and some are lucky to get their first job before May 6.
I applied for TRV last October 2020 and since then the status was like submitted and no webform or phone response. Of course, you can leave the country, but for someone who has been in Canada for over 10 years like me and hasn't got a PR status since a teen there just too much to lose. Once you travel abroad you loss your PGWP and Canadian work experience. The IRCC are smarter than you, they want you be here as long as possible, cares nothing whether you employed or not because you spend and contribute to the Economy as long as you breathing.
SO plzzzz if you got too much money in your pocket, why don't you share some with us or donate to the Canadian gov?

And btw, my family immigrate via federal BIP 12 years ago and when they took your deposit and decided to shut down the program, that's when you felt the pain in the ass.
Try me.

Hey,
I’m really sorry this really confusing for me. I don’t really understand these requirements clearly, there is just too much. So it is enough ?
First of all. The international graduate stream is closed. So you can’t apply in that one.
secondly,
- one or more diplomas, certificates or attestations, where each program of study is at least 8 months in duration and the combined length of the credentials is equivalent to a 2-year credential (at least 16 months in duration)
your certificate was only 1 year. I’m assuming is the normal one of 8 month but is technically 1 year. So you don qualify as you need a 16 month certificate or 2 certificates of 8 month each.

Complainers never see opportunities because they spend most of the time on negative things, and play the victim game.
Many of us international students came here without much advantage in finance, language, culture, skills... still have integrated really great into this country by studying and working hard everyday. How come you have stayed here for 10 years and crying just few thousand bucks as such a big deal ?
