They can contact IRCC on your behalf for updates but cant really do anything else, not sure if it really brings any extra attention to your file. I think you are better off getting the GCMS notes for updates. My MP has been contacting IRCC since March, not much has changed.

IRCC has requested me to submit my wife's and my passport for PR Visa issuance since I'm outside Canada and my TRV has expired.

what is pr visa? you either have pr or visa?? for pr they don't need your passport. i am confused

Thank you. I don’t think GCM notes will help me now as it says Final decision 31 March and from Ircc everything has passed but no email yet
