Hello Friends,
I have a question. I received my Ecopr today. On my file exists expired date which is next month while for my wife is next 5 years.
What is the expire date in the Ecopr?
Thanks

Hey,

since you were here before 18 years of age, did you submit Police clearance certificate from your home country?

i was here since i was 17 and i did submitted RCMP but not sure if i should've submitted PCC.
  • No, I did not submit a PCC from my home country because it was not required. I've been in Canada since 15 & have never left.
  • You did not have to submit an RCMP PCC. It was also not required because IRCC already has that step included automatically in the various steps that make up the overall Background Check. However, there is nothing wrong with providing it and many others have done so, too.
Best wishes!

Are you confusing the fact that you have 30 days to print off your ECOPR? Mine says:

"You will have 30 days to print your eCoPR. After 30 days, it will no longer be accessible to you."

Received ECOPR today, Monday, Feb 13 -- 16 days or 2 full work weeks after completing portal address confirmation & photo upload. I've updated my signature for full time-line.

For those interested in a little more detail, at no time after linking on May 9, getting a medical request on May 27, and passing it on June 11, 2022, did anything change on my account until today. It didn't change when I got the PR email or the PR Portal. The whole time (until today's ECOPR) it read that Eligibility, Background & Final Decision were all in process. Today it reads:
Review of eligibility
  • February 13, 2023 Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below.
Review of medical results
  • June 11, 2022 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check
  • January 23, 2023 Your background check was completed.
Final decision
  • February 13, 2023 Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.
Don't panic about lack of transparency (as frustrating as it is). Stuff is happening. Best wishes everyone!

Any November 2021 applicants received approval? I know that there are many people who applied months before November, it doesn't look like they a processing these in order, so I figured I would just ask.

Oops! Yes, French Stream B. I I forgot that English stream B capped in the summer. French stream had no cap, I applied right before the deadline.
I have some friends in your stream, they are almost all get the pr approval, it seems like there are less application in that stream, so IRCC deal with them faster than us English Stream B.

It's better to make a phone call to IRCC to check your application status. I just did it today.

The IRCC agent who picked up my phone call, he didn't use background word.
He told me that criminal and info sharing on going, security not start yet.

After @CherAmie explain that background include those steps, then I realized that my background is on going.
