You should be eligible for the ‘OWP under TR to PR Pathway’ & can apply at 4 months before your work permit expires, which for you means RIGHT NOW before your permit expires on Dec 31, 2022. If you were eligible for TR to PR, then you are eligible for the 'OWP under TR to PR Pathway'. Read the instructions all the way through several times because some of the instructions do not logically follow what is requested online, but follow the instructions anyway because that is how they are 'routing' your application to the right area for processing.

From IRCC's website:
If you applied under the temporary resident to permanent resident (TRPR) pathway, you may be eligible to apply for an open work permit under a temporary public policy.

So i read the link, but the main problem is that they sent me an email on may telling me that my PR was cancelled, when i tried to find out why ,an agent told me that it might be a mistake and i received after an other email saying that my application was not on the system yet and that i have to be patient....The other problem is that i never received an email of confirmation about the PR, just the receipt for payment, and after reading the link i saw that they want that.

Yes, but instead of selecting IRCC as a department. Select CBSA. Rest everything will be same.

Umm.. Actually, it is not from Tr2Pr pathway

I applied Tr2Pr on May 6 under ENG International student, but it seems stuck

So, I applied PR via sponsorship last month and even within a month I received the portal email

My Tr2Pr is still in process like,
AOR: Mar 10, 2022
GCMS notes requested 3 times almost every 2 months and everything shows the same
Security: not initiated
Background: not initiated
Criminality: in process since Mar 2022
Info Sharing: Done in Mar 2022
Medical: Pass, but expired
Bio: done way before applying

It is ridiculous

Guys I am in desperate need of help. So my situation is:-

I have applied in TR to PR but haven't received AOR yet. My PGWP is expiring in 11 months:-


1) Should I apply new PGWP now as its expiring in 11 months or need to wait for 6 months when my permit will be left with just 4 months of expiration.

2) I wish to visit my home country. What if I get ADR while I am in India. I know that for PR portal they wait to return but can we submit ADR forms from INDIA?


Please advice
