My profile got updated but I didn't get GU.
My Medical changed from medical passed to
  • You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Will they ask me another medical?

Also, under submitted docs, there's "Client Info" (Not Provided) even though I provided it at the time of submission. And there's no date besides it so I believe it's a glitch.

I know quite a few who got their medicals changed from medical passed to you don't need medical for months as their medicals expired after over 1 year of submission. But also in some cases I saw they got PR very soon after this. What's your take on this?
I saw the people who got this change received their PR between 1-3 months after so it's a good sign.
I also see that client info document on my account, that's just a bug that is there since the last update. No need to worry about it.

Hi guys, I also have a "glitch" (I hope it is just a glitch) on my account. I wrote a few webforms about this technical issue, but haven't received an answer yet. Anyone else still has it on their accounts? I mean glitch on the submitted and uploaded page. Thanks!
Yes, that is a glitch. There are many people who have this file listed under the submitted documents. You don't need to worry about it.

I have a case of bad timing. I have to go to Europe next week.
Question: Is it risky to leave before receiving eCOPR?
Worst case: I'll stay in Canada and my husband & son make the trip alone. What do you guys think?
(I'm from a visa waiver country - eTA.)

Hi Guys,

We need some help.

We have applied for my friend's application under TR to PR IG stream in May 2021. We received a request to submit IMM5669E(Schedule A - Background declaration) in Jan 2022 and we submitted it after 7 days. However, We made a mistake in section 6(d) as seen below:

been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa or application to the provincial nominee program or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other county or territory?

The answer supposed to be yes as his Study permit was refused during first attempt but he got study permit and TRV during second attempt. However, By mistake we answered no to that question and there was no update on the application.

We recently ordered GCMS to understand the status of PR application and we noticed that the Immigration officer had a note as below:

Document were requested from the PA including a revised and completed Schedule A. Regrettably, the PA did upload a new Schedule A however it is still incomplete, This PA is non-compliant. Please review further and refuse.

After reviewing above mentioned note we have corrected our mistake and submitted revised IMM5669E(Background declaration) right away using webform. It has been almost 3 weeks and there has not been any update.

Does anyone ran into similar issue? and what was the outcome? Does anyone recommend what should we do next?

Thank you.
So you committed the same mistake twice before correcting it through the webform? As in both during submission & during adr? If yes, then high chances of refusal as webforms get attached after sometime & that too if you’re lucky. Although as per internal procedure of theirs, they do have to update the file again even after close if they receive any updated webform but it depends on vo

I am sorry to hear your situation and sending a webform shows you noticed an error and corrected immediately. However, I heard for CEC they are very strict than TR-PR because alot of TR did errors. I would advice that you consult a lawyer for this type of situation.

Keep in mind that you will need a proof of address if applying online because this is where they will physically send your new SIN to. If I were to apply in person, I'd always choose to apply at the place where I actually live. So Montréal might not be the best place. Just my 2 cents.

Guys how long is it recently taking to get your WP approved? It's been almost 3 months for me so far. Anyone received recently, how much time is it taking?
It's been 6 months, and it hasn't been approved. I got one ADR in August. Now, I need to withdraw, as PR has been approved.

You've gotta explain that because the study permit was granted again, you had forgotten about the initial study permit refusal. You have to confirm that you did not intend to mislead the IRCC.
Redo, and resubmit the form. Attach a VERY DETAILED timeline of all applications that you can recall.

They asked me for my form A as well. I think because I forgot travel to the US. I resent a very detailed chronological personal history.

Act quickly and be positive.

I expect that you will be able to extend it again.

However, note that you are entitled to the TR to PR Open Work Permit as well. I believe you have until end of 2022 to apply. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/tr-pr-pathway/who-can-apply.html

If you don't need a visa to enter Canada, I don't see why you need to stay.

If the trip is not for a super long time, you might as well go.

If I were you, I would try to hold my mail at the local post office or ask someone to house-sit, take my mail, etc. In case the card comes.
