Same situation, but mine was receive AOR Feb 8
Sydney then --> Whitehorse for forever without any update since June 2022 because of medical expired.
hope we will get a good news soon and wish the officer will come back from vacation to work on our file soon as well.

Surprisingly got connected to the main agent directly in like 30 mins this time after a few tries.
But kind of same update since last time, nothing as such changed

Btw processing time for wp again increased to 166 days - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

but trv reduced to 15 days
When did you apply? And what’s the status of your application? I haven’t been active as much on this forum lately.

I just called IRCC and the agent confirmed my criminality was changed from 'passed' to 'in progress' on June 17, 2022 (Also got a ghost update that time)
and explained it was because the 'passed' one for my common-law partner and 'in progress' is for myself
Of course, nothing else has been updated...
Well , I think you also fall into June 17th GU gang like me. I have picked 12 to 13 people in this gang who got exactly same update on June 17th or +/- one day, where all of them got their criminality which was passed already, gone into in progress again. I believe there are few single applicants among them as well who went through the exact same, so probably the IRCC agent might not have been very accurate.

Just discovered that my MP (Marci Ien) here in Toronto is a member of the task force that is working with government agencies to be more efficient and deliver services in a timely manner but her office is ignoring me for weeks about my complaints about this immigration process and not replying my emails... after their first email update about 3 months ago I'm getting nothing now. Those task forces/committees are just for show

https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/news/2022/08/members-of-the-task-force-on-services-to-canadians-ministers-ien-miller-gould-alghabra-and-fraser-provide-an-update-on-recent-work-to-improve-gover.html

"The task force discussed the underlying pandemic-related reasons for the significant surges in demand for travel and for other government services, which have been far bigger than anyone anticipated. "

Oh wow, for how long they will be using this excuse? For years to come, I'm sure. And what a waste of money to have this task force just to tell us this
