Mine is 40 months (applied on Feb 2021) and still waiting stuck on security background check.

Same here, applied Nov/2021 all steps passed but still stuck in security check.

From the account names It seems most people stuck in security check are from a certain region and/or religion, reminds me when I usually get selected for “random” check in airports

Does anyone feel the same way? I hope I’m wrong

PS Has anyone applied for a mandamus and it worked for them?

They usually target certain backgrounds for extensive background check

Oh nooo…. Yours is worse than mine. Mine is almost 32 months but yours should be 42 months.
But nobody here shares their experience. It turns out that everyone who applied in 2021 received their PR, except us?
