Unfortunately you need SP. If you were protected person and lets say you still have valid study permit, or work permit then YES you dont need another SP to do ESL 6months or less

But guidelines requires to have guide. May be im not aware of the new guidelines, something to research further. But i have links that requires SP if you dont have valid TRP
 
Any update guys , I received pre arrival letter 1st week of Jan and after that no update…..
 
In September they asked me for police clearance certificate, which I submitted same day . No pending documents request….

Application july 2021, criminality, security and madical passed since august 2022. My eligibility review got stuck since august and it's being 19 months for the entire processing
