They don't argue for your behalf, but they can only ask for status of your application.. they cant influence decision or push your application.

Status on ecas is too generic… public policy on medical exam waiver is expired, and they need medical exam, but it is EDE (Excessive Demand Exempt)… they examine danger to public

Today is the eighth month of submitting the application, and I have not received any updates from IRCC. What should I do? I want to write a letter to a member. I ask the member to urge me. I don't know how to do this?

I applied 15 august 2021 and today I tried to link my application which was successful. But it just says name uci and date of submitted . I don’t know whether they have started my application process or not

it's making progress, which is good, maybe try calling ircc's automated phone line (same toll free number) enter your info and see if thers a status update , i found that automated line updates as soon as thers a ghost update or progress

I tried the link today and it didn't work, is there a phone number for IRCC? thank you all. Now IRCC does things really randomly, there is no pattern

Update on a friend's case:
He applied in March 2021 (single applicant) , received CoPR yesterday and email instructions for PR Portal to upload his photo and confirm his address. It seems 13 months is the length of time from submission to CoPR for many applicants I know.

I see public policy on medical exam waiver is expired, I believe they are starting to ask everyone for Medical now. My ECAS says medical results have been received and says on CIC profile that they don't need my medical exam. If they ask for medical inside Canada, we have to expect a delay in CoPR.

March 2021 applicant here with family inland, no news for 3 month now, last update was asking for additional document on early feb .
