FINALLY got Oath scheduled for mid march.
This will be about a year after taking (and passing) test online in March 2022.
Been sitting with no activity or updates since then.

Hi, I just have a question for those who already got their Citizenship.

Is it a requirement to submit a valid passport in applying for citizenship?

story: my childrens' passport will expire this oct 2025 and I thinking to not renew it because we have no plans of travel. we can apply for citizenship feb 2026, my question is, can I submit the citizenship application of my 2 children with expired passport? will it cause a problem with our application?

You need to provide explanation why you don't have a valid passport or for gaps between two passport

No, notary is not needed. A word doc is enough. You can check the forum to find ID's who were asked for explanation from IRCC.
