2020 TRV timelines

I applied TRV on Dec 30th 2020, received the "Confirmation of Online Application Transmission" on the same day but I received Submission confirmation today, is it strange? And does my processing time start after receiving the submission confirmation?

Hi ! I almost have the same timeline as yours. Applied 29th December 2020 and Submission Confirmation on 8th February 2021. Any update on your application?

Rejection for exemption on email: 3rd Dec
Gave explaination why the rejection was invalid (they stated I was not immediate family & I had applied for extended family)
Reply received in Jan: Application was incomplete (Biometrics)
Biometrics and 2nd mail for exemption: 26th Feb
Passport request and approval: 4th March

Note: Only my expemtion request was rejected the first time. TRV was still in process then.
When I said reapply, I meant sent email for exemption again.

I quoted and cited references to the rules on IRCC website to which I was referring for the exemption. Apart from this, they have format wherein you provide, name and application details along with proposed dates of travel.

Hi

I mentioned that I had received ITA for PR hence I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that. My partner and I have not seen in each other in a year and thus this has been difficult for us. We have missed all special occasions and this has taken a toll on our mental health. Also, my partner is living alone and in these times with the lockdown etc. how tough the journey has been for him.

i see got it, thanks. did you as sponsor send the email exception or PA living in india send the email? as well as we are under immediate family member for spouse, we dont have to fill the satuatory declaration right?
