Did 2018 plications got lost somewhere? It seems 2019 applications take on average 15 months to be completed but from memory, March 2018 applications are the ones I see posted more often on the forum. I'm just wondering if it's just those applications or all Qc applicants should now expect 2+ years processing for the application to be accepted?

no I don't think that +2 years will be the average for qc becaus we got our CSQ really early in the process ( july 2018 ) so after that all is in the hand of cic.... we only got really unlucky and all depend on the agent working on your files.... And yes they totally forgot us for a complete year ( medical exam aug 2018 and then we heard nothing for a complete year ) . Our mistake was to trust our reprensentant that keep saying us that ircc dont like pressure. This is not true. If we had done something in this year ( send update request by webform, call, reach MP ) I'm pretty sure we had a DM a long time ago.... but I came on this forum after 20 months and it's here that I learn about MP and GCMS note and without telling our reprensentant I did everything possible to wake them up and it worked. But the damage was already done and we are now at almost 28 months
Still waiting as well, the medical exam was passed on March 17 and nothing after that
Can't believe it is taking so long to get the background check completed since September
I am also 15 months in the application
There is probably some intentional negligence on the QC sponsorships. The CSQ requirement alone can’t explain the huge difference in processing times compared with sponsorships in other provinces.
If anyone is still waiting for their CSQ, I called them today and they are processing applications received in January now and said March would be in 2 weeks.
I suppose you mean application with AOR in January ? Because all those who sent their CSQ request in December (so received in December) are still waiting for their CSQ, they are still in process.
