Do you know how long before his owp expiry date , he can apply for extention? For instance can he do it two weeks before expiry? Cuz in that case we’ll hopefully recieve our receipt from IRCC for PR application.

Best practice is to apply 3 months before expiration so as to get the work permit extended before the previous owp expires.
How sure are you that he will receive his AOR next month? It takes about 30 to 90 days

i’m not sure but I’ll try to be optimistic cuz I’ve checked the latest reports from people and it seems that they have recieved their AOR within 20 days!

My application was received on June 15th and my AOR was on August 10th. When do you think we may likely get our medical request from CIC?

Probably December. People with AOR in March are still waiting for the medicals. There is about a delay of three months..so we need just to wait and be patient

I think submitting it upfront will make the whole process faster at least for a month

Lets verify the delay of 3 months in the upcoming September, since my AOR is in mid March.
