2018 January applicants for PR (paper-based)

Is there anything we can do regarding processing?
I mean sending request through email for processing of previous applications as it’s been more than 3 years now.
Last year applicants are receiving PR now and 2018 applicants are still waiting

I'm seeing early 2021 applicants being finalized. Granted I was late 2019 but some people I know that applied in 2020 have an outcome.

yes i have seen too that early 2020 applicants are getting PR.
One of my friend from Calgary got his PR today and he was June 2018 applicant.
So hope for the best

It's neither good nor bad. It's just a way to learn a bit what is going on with the file. Applying takes 5 minutes and 5 dollars, so it is worth.

June 2021: followed up with MP and they said everything is already done in March 2021 and we are in the queue for final approval
June 2021: File transferred from Sydney to Etobicoke , and ECAs changed from In Progress to Applications received till now.

Review of medical results - November 25, 2021: You passed the medical exam.

Meanwhile, I've been waiting for WP extension since August 29, 2021. IRCC hasn't started processing my app yet.
