This is insane, I don't know what's going on.

Nah that person was referring to the 2nd email they sent to include their names.

Just someone who did not read or maybe does not know how to read their emails properly and posting false information here.

Any one received email in the morning says was selected and later on received another email says name was not included ? It happen to me and another person from other forum....how is this happen and what is going on ??

Can you please elaborate? What does the first and second email says? Were you selected or not? Thanks!

Come on! They've simply sent another email stating your name on it, as on the first one the sponsor's name didn't appear anywhere. You've been selected. Celebrate.

Hi havent received any email. did you guys receive confirmation email while you applied? I never got email so now wondering if something wrong with the email address?

i have confirmation number that i have printed off while submitted the form.

Ottawa, April 25, 2017 – This year we introduced a new application intake process for the Parent and Grandparent Program. We did this to improve people’s access to the application process by making it more fair and transparent.

Between January 3, 2017, and February 2, 2017, interested sponsors first had to fill out an “Interest to Sponsor” web form. Just over 95 000 people completed the form. This demonstrates the popularity of the Parent and Grandparent Program. Of those, we randomly chose 10 000 sponsors and emailed them inviting them to submit their application. We also emailed everyone who wasn’t randomly selected to inform them of the results.

Can you just read the email properly? Don't just read email headings and titles. read the WHOLE EMAIL!!!!

Noone who was rejected receive the email yet. They torture people till 8 May then send all rejections all together

There was no confirmation email sent to you for applying your intend.
which is very stupid.

they did make us wait 2 months for this. i wont be surprised if they make those who are rejected wait some more.
