2nd GU today, medical status changed from "medical approved" to "you do not need a medical exam"..
I don't know if this is the medical extension or the request for the extension...

Dec 14, with one dependent.

It’s a request for extension, i’m in a similar situation, I called and they told me that they sent the extension request. Hoping for the best

Hi, how do you know if your medical results got extended today? Did you call the CIC or you saw the msg in cic account?

got 2nd GU today. last GU was security chk complete (confirmed by calling cic) this time I can see in my cic account, medical changed from passed on June 15 2018, to "you do not need a medical exam" Does this mean my medical has been extended? or just means they sent out the request. At this stage, I am kinda desperate....

I believe it is an automated response triggered when your medical expires

exactly, just called cic. no thing has been done today. you are right. agent told me that they haven't even sent out the request yet.
