My husband is from the south.....

I hope this is nit true, my parents left lebanon long time because of this division as m

start processing : 4 april 2017
Mediacl exam done in june 2017
i recived pre arriavls : feb 2018
and now they told me my stage in check back ground.

From processing time till this month its 15 months.
it is normal.

Well Do you think that we may not hear anything before the new law will be available

We are expanding our fingerprint and photo requirements
Starting July 31, 2018, you will need to give your fingerprints and photos (biometrics) when you apply for a visitor visa, study or work permit, or permanent residence if you are from Europe, the Middle East or Africa.


So our spouse will do the fingerprints and biometrics

Don’t they already take their fingerprint when they do their police clearance?

no it is when you apply for VFS global when your requested to submit your passports and in VFS you will be asked for fingerprints and photos it is like shengen visas

my wife get her visa and COPR today wooowwww we are so happy good luck for you all. it whole process took us 5 months and 12 days

hi no they don't.

just you have to convince the officer that relationship is sincere and true and they are trained to do so and to study all files without discrimination and clear backround check if it is clear it will be okay.

i’m just wondering if they process the case faster for those who have been married for more than 1-2 years?

hi Lama.

we know each other since 2009, and we are in relationship since 2009 and we got married in 2017 in USA , we travelled together a lot of times we have shared bank accounts in France and Lebanon and we took pictures every country we visited USA, Italy, France, Greece, Cyprus, and also Lebanon.

yea it should be fast for those who been married for more than 2 years and also if they have kids too but in our case i sent them a lot of evidences since university days in 2009 and till 2017. my CGMS shows that the officer convinced that our marriage is sincere and genuine because we've been dating since 2009 and lot of shared properties. so we closed our case in 5 moths 12 days.
