2012 Etobicoke Landing Interview Waiting Times?

Hey,

So I just got a letter from CIC Vegreville saying that the processing of my application for my PR has been completed (yaayy finally!!!) and that CIC Etobicoke will contact me. I am guessing to set up an appointment for the landing interview?
So I read through some older threads, apparently it's a very busy office, but for anyone who has had experiences with the Etobicoke office recently, how long did it take you until you heard from them/until your interview was scheduled?

Hey, I got a letter yesterday stating the same thing. I think etobicoke usually takes 3 weeks. Well that's from
What Ive seen so far, Maybe we will have landed interview same day. I got both stages approved on the 12th of sept.

What's your timeline?

I got my landed interview letter today. It's schedule for oct 4.

Wow! That was fast! Congratulation!! Hopefully it will be that fast for me, too... But I see you got your two stages approved the same day, too. for me it lasted 10 months after AIP for this letter, so with my luck it will be another long wait Thanks for the information!!

Did you get your interview letter yet?

No, i didn't.. I called immigration on friday and they told me that my file was sent back to vegreville because they have to extend my medicals (they expired a few days ago) so they are waiting for the file return to the office.they said that takes a few days so thats probably why it's taking longer, but hopefully i will get it soon. thanks for asking

ECAS PR DM - sept 23
AIP letter thru mail - sept 25 (actually, date of the letter is sept 19)
Stage 2 letter thru mail - sept 26 (actually, date of the letter is sept 20)

Now waiting for etobicoke appointment letter for landing date.

Military wife, what's your guess, when do you think I'll probably receive Etobicoke appointment letter?

I did inland spousal sponsorship, all of my letters were white paper. Anyway, he asked if I had dependents then said we checked you out so we know U have no criminal record. (I didn't do fingerprint etc) asked me to initial where it said no criminal record then asked how my sponsor and I met. Then he said congrats etc. It was pretty easy, guy who interview me was black, (We joked a little). But overall it was a great day.
