I received this letter from CPC-Ottawa " Please be advised the visa is valid until 2016/07/19. You need to land in Canada before or on that date. Please submit the passports and photos as soon as possible."

This letter was date June 8, 2016 and my parents submitted there passports through VFS on June 15,2016 as that was the only option to submit the passports as per the letter. VFS was supposed to send the passports to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

I have not received the passports as of today. I am little concerned as i have already booked the tickets for July 12, 2016.


When my parents received the automatic text message from VFS, it showed " Visa application with tracking id xxxx has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office,Chandigarh on 16/06/2016." When i track the application, it shows " Your application is being processed at New Delhi".

I am little confused about this.

Also, How long does it take to get the passports back??

Hi Everyone I have a question, my parents r going using UPS to deliver their passports to Ottawa fromUSA, and need to attach One self-addressed, pre-paid envelope with their complete mailing address, as I know the envelope from UPS is quite big for mailing back to my parents and For the address is sheets, has anyone have same experience ? Pandora my case was Nov 2010 and my file transfer to Ottawa. If u in Canada u can contact ur MP.
I have query if someone can help PPR request come under dad name as he is PA and mom is dependant. My da in India and mom is here so with the same letter mentioned PA I can send my mom docs to Ottawa office for visa stamp. Pls help

I think all family cases are processed at New Delhi..even tho it says Chandigarh...not to worry i guess about that..they have my parents passports since April, yet not have received them till today..not sure what process they are still doing..good luck we are still hanging in there..
