i applied for my family at december 2006 but it seems they reached september and stopped at here, i heard it will be atleast another year before they start processing other new applications , but hopfully members of 2006 will start recieve thier medicals soon as there are members of august who got medicals while others at end of 2006 didnt even request the update from them !

the problem is that there is no rule ,some people applied in september just like me and got their medicals and some did not even requested to submit updated documents ,all we have is to be optimistic and wait

the CAIPS is a system by which you can check the current status of your application ,you can find it on the official website of the canadian immigration system http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp and click on "Check application status" on the right side of the website ,then use the file number and the rest of the required information to see the status of your application ,most propably the status is "IN Process"
My husband and I always check it and it has been "In Process" since 5 years (Mawtouna ishwaket yfithooha 3ad)

regarding the in process (kaleeesha) , does this stay the same until the application is finished?
if not could you please let me know when do they change it , is it before they send you the request to upadate your file?
