ok there is so much going on here and i was trying to find the answer but i have 2 questions:

1) can my mother co-sign a sponsorship application if we are living at the same address

and

2) is a son-in-law considered in the other relative category for the family class sponsorship?

2. No, no blood relationship.

so what can i do? i dont meet the LICO by just under 3 grand. but i live with my parents and they are willing to help with sponsorship but if i apply i wont get through. i am so heartbroken

In an earlier post you stated that you sponsoring your spouse? If so then you don't need to meet the LICO. You know that if you put all the information in the posts, maybe you would get a better answer!
For spousal applications you just can't be on welfare (except disability) or bankrupt or in jail.
