Did you order gcms notes? The processing time for the CEC applications currently is 16 months.

Noted all clear, current processing for new applications after July 2022, is 6 months
As of today, it is 180 days for me too.
Not sure what is taking too long, an IRCC agent said most of the work is done and I should get the mail any day. It was 3 weeks ago and the day hasn't come yet.
PR tracker shows Background completed on Jan 27. Eligibility in progress. No idea how relaiable this is, because there are people who have it as not started and got the portal email.

My VO is Edmonton, but I reside in Vancouver. Not sure how VO is assigned.

True, I have seen a majority of applications from Oct is processed too.
Heck, even people from late Novenmber has got PR. Today I saw post from the Nov thread saying they are annoyed with the delay.

I am still not sure if writing to a MP would reflect negative on our application.

Go in person to local MP's office or send email for appointment. They can call !RCC directly and present your case and situation. It also gets updated in Case file and GCMS notes so assigned agent might wake up to finalize application.
If anyone is planning to contact local MP, please let me know the process. I would like to give it a try as well.
Also, I heard about applying Mandamus legally. Can be applied after 180 days or is there a timeline for it?
