My wife and I together with our eldest daughter and son were PR holders excecpt for the youngest 18 month old daughter who was born outside Canada. We are going back to re establish after almost 2 years outside Canada. We applied for TRV for our youngest daughter as per the Canadian Embassy's instructions. We have provided our resignation from our current job and all the documents necessary but but was denied because it indicates that the visa officer was not satisfied that our daughter will leave Canada on the allowed time??? They are the one who instructed us TRV then upon arrival at CAnada we can start the process of applying for her PR. We are booked December to return to CAnada hoping that our youngest will have her TRV. Now we tried to appeal the case but for sure, we will go for a walk in application to be able to process the TRV the same day.

One of you is going to have to return to Canada to submit a sponsorship application for her. Either that or a Temporary Resident Permit from the overseas office, unlikely if the TRV has been refused.

that's a really strange decision, how can they refuse just one member of family, who is so small and cannot prove her ties? that's not fair.

1. Because the intention is for the child to remain permanently in Canada, a TRV says she is a visitor. She doesn't have PR status, only her parents do.
