According to me Paper based is better as you get a little time extra and environment seems to be friendly..
But i havent given CBT so it will be better if someone whose has attempted both may give insights.
I'll suggest you do the paper based test. It makes you more comfortable compared to sitting behind a computer. However, choices differ with individuals. Someone like me for example would prefer to underline a lot of phrases on the question paper when reading and also have a broad view of the passages and questions.... Generally, I think paper based is better

@coolcham If you are ok with Listening, Speaking, Reading but only have a challenge with writing; I'll suggest you find a tutor who can show you the strategies to writing. Usually, they are basic things but you might need someone to point them out for you. For example, what the prompt is, what the assignment is, how to paraphrase the question using appropriate synonyms, starting off your 1st paragraph with a good topic sentence and making it coherent all the way. So just find a tutor and ace it once and for all!
I wrote the same in listening
What was ur 40th answer ?
I wrote ‘weird’ , but have written ‘rare’
I heard it clearly
Modern languages are very ‘weird ‘ , rare doesn’t fit in either
