17+ Months Applicants

Hi everyone, 24+ months!

Damn with CSIS, CBSA and IRCC. 21+ Months and still no test invite.

As per ATIP in July 2019:

1) Application is "On-Hold". Reason: Suspended - clearances
2) CSIS sent a letter saying my file is still in progress.
3) Criminality Clearance: Passed
4) File transferred to: Case Review

I did everything humanely possible. Nothing worked. My lawyer sent a Demand Letter to process my application by Dec 16. If there is no reply, we will be filing Mandamus application in FC.

They don't care about 20% of us who are delayed.

My lawyer already send letter to case management in Ottawa 4 days ago mention that reason of delay and said that we have to wait for Ottawa answer three weeks to get reply from them.

You got 2 RQs , right ? Were you out of Canada a lot ?

what's RQ? how do you know if you get RQ'ed or not?

RQ is a Residency Questionnaire.. it’s an onerous form that you complete with detailed information. The RQ request usually arises when you traveled abroad a lot or accompanied a Canadian citizen abroad and claimed eligibility
