I am entering my 20th month soon, and no test invite even.

Have you thought about withdrawing the application and reapplying ? It might be faster ?

After a long wait of 18+ months I received my test invite today.

Here is my timeline:

Application Received: Oct 16th 2017
AOR: Nov 15th 2017
In Process: Nov 23rd 2017
CIC Sleeping: Entire 2018
FP Request: Mar 26th 2019
Test Invite: May 09th 2019
Test Date: May 23rd 2019 @ Mississauga 7:45 AM

i chose to spend this Friday eve to see the comments here and sympathize.. i called IRCC (yet again) and guess what.,..... same reply "in process"..."everything is fine with your file"...."back ground check pending".... " BS ..BS..BS..BS"..!!

P.S... i have sent them CSIS ATIP Notes... RCMP File... which clearly says "NO RECORDS FOUND"... "SECURITY CLEARED"... since APRIL 2018...

In short... we are victim of that 20% of files which Govt has to claim as "non routine"... " we-cant-process-everything-under-12 months-" rule.. 80% claimed to processed quickly...think about this.. all those IRCC agents... call centre agents... have to be paid salary... if they keep processing files so quickly... everyone will get suspicious about them ... as one of our dear friend pointed out somewhere---"political conundrum"!!!

so my fellow applicants... take-a-chill-pill.. or rather go have a tequila shot... if anyone is in toronto and wants to have a shot with me... let me know hahaha!!!.. we'll vent together,

As I said in the previous thread, order ATIP for both CSIS and IRCC. If you only order IRCC you wont know whats the problem.

Finally after RQ Lite and 20 months in process decision was made on my application on May 10, 2019. Oath slated for June 05, 2019. I am glad that this journey has finally come to an end.
