WTF it must be a joke.
Take CELPIP it should be cheaper. However I have no idea for sure.
Many people are offended that PCC is expiring.

In logic once you left the country and get certificate, what can possibly be a justification for a new one.
In addition that I have PhD I have to pass all those humiliating checks.

Recently I got US visa and was waiting for it for 1 month as my application was under review due to advanced chemistry background.
I got US visa for only 1 year. and my common law for 10 years.

this is completely humiliating fact that checks, certificates and other BS is needed.

That can happen for a new PCC too.Its valid for few months.During that time a crime committed long back can be uncovered.Then validity of PCC should be 1 day.
