Don't get all the hate for the poor soul. Firstly the case can be reopened if he chooses to remedy the situation (maybe another eternity before final approval - will serve as a good lesson) secondly IRCC def shares some blame if not equally responsible. If there's ADR for other docs why cant IRCC staff go the extra mile and be more clear about the requirements? His eligibility check must be review required as many here are as well, but will one be able to find out what exactly is missing had he not ordered / known how to order GCMS notes? Just ask yourself.

I know IRCC is a royal mess, but I don't see how this is IRCC's fault at all. This person missed out on the most basic requirement for applying for FSW. If they are now asking whether getting the job duties letter can help them get a re-assessment, it means they probably could have gotten it for the actual application, if they tried. So it tells me they didn't really read and understand the requirements for the program, or most likely, hired an incompetent Consultant who has now ruined their chances.

I have definitely not seen a lot of FSW-O from post April 2021 get PPR. Where are you getting this from?

April 2021+ is PNP. It’s not possible for non PNP FSW. Most likely you mean the fact that august/21+ PNP and 2020/early2021 PNP are getting ppr. Which is unfortunate because to them you are neither classified as too much backlogged nor can they finalize your case under 6 months like they are doing for late 2021 so they can claim they are meeting timeline. You’ll most likely be one of the lesser priorities for PNP processing.

Ah yes, sorry. I replied to a reply lol. But @PG12 unfortunately, your AOR is probably their lowest priority for PNP.

I am May 2021 PNP so fall in that unfortunate space as well . They could have finalised my file before my medicals expired, instead they waited till 5 days after medical expiry to finalise, and then had to request for re-medicals, adding an extra 4-6 weeks to my wait .

You referring to me right? Yes I completed my medicals on the 25th but my slow poke clinic has still not submitted all our results to IRCC. They have only submitted for my youngest child, 5 of us still outstanding. The lady nonchalantly told me they submit results within 3 weeks so I should be patient .

Jokes aside, you are almost there. I don't know how the clinic works in Canada but in India, if you pester them, they upload the results within a week. Maybe you can try to be annoying.

My clinic in South Africa submitted in a matter of days, and emailed me copies too. Here, the clinic is refusing to give me a copy. When I pressed, they said I have to pay for it. I have been calling them daily to pester, eventually this morning she told me they will try to get them all uploaded by tomorrow. I have been able to get copies of x-ray reports from Radiologist, and other tests are visible on e-health portal, so I know everything is fine with the medicals. Just need to wait now.

Generally, yes. If you are used to things getting done very quickly, there's some amount of culture shock when you get to Canada, but I guess one adapts quickly .

Hello, can someone please explain the difference between these two statuses? 1) Your application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your background check. 2) we are processing your background check.. why do some applications show one status while others show the second one? If the status is your application is in progress does it delay the processing
