A quick question on how to read the GCMS notes. Mine was 42 pages and I feel that it repeated alot of things. Certain items were redacted, 5(1) the detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities, 16(1)(c) injurious to the enforcement of any law of Canada or a province or the conduct of lawful investigations, 19(1) personal information. They tell you this in the email as well.
Where it says "Location" that was also redacted and after some research on this forum, I come to find out that line tells you where your file is in the queue? My ghost update I had on the 16 Feb 2022, was indeed to update the Criminality Background check. It expired on Feb 15, 2022 so they had to update with new check. Other than that nothing else of value other than they also have records on there of communication to and from me. I called IRCC up at the beginning of Feb 2022, being one year since AOR to try and find out whats happening on my file. I also requested UP through a webform on the 1 year anniversary as we have so many family members that died these past two years, and we couldnt go back to pay our respects or mourn with our other family members. Now this might just be my own opinion, but did that "spur them on" to relook at our family's case file at all? Or is it just co-incidental? We received DM on March 1, 2022. Anyone have any similar opinion? At the Mississauga office btw.
