Same here. BG is in progress along with the rest of the stuff except the test which was completed on Feb 11th. I guess we’ll just have to hunker down and wait.

I'm sure there is a reason, but it makes me laugh that my background can be complete, but not certain steps like language.

Did you have a lot of travels? I had two travels during my eligibility period but q.13 had me list all visitor statuses for all time. I. Had alot or travels. I’m guessing that’s what’s taking them longer

Background check marked complete today . They received fingerprints on feb 23rd so exactly one month from the day they were submitted.

test is still “in progress” even though it was passed on Sunday 20th. Hopefully that’ll change soon with no issues/retest needed .

Mine is still stuck. They haven't received FP results yet.

Background check marked complete today . They received fingerprints on feb 23rd so exactly one month from the day they were submitted.

Not really , based on other posters in this forum it seems it can take anywhere from 3 - 10 weeks for them to receive and review finger print information once u submit the request with RCMP.

Travelled thrice back home since I became a resident. Not sure if this counts as too much travelling. My only issue is that I have plans to travel next week for a month back home and worried if a Fingerprint request comes in while I’m outside Canada.

My fingerprints were received by IRCC on Feb 06, but they still haven't reviewed them. Everything says in progress. Any idea how long it takes for them to review and to mark background check as "complete' ?

@GuyanaGirl and @DEEP2022, you both mentioned you had to get fingerprints done before the background check was complete.

I have been waiting for the request to do this, but was never asked for it. I assume this won't be asked if the BG is marked complete?
