Hello guys,
Some weird update came today. Any idea what's happening here or has faced similar issue. On my tracker, I see update- background check changed to in progress. I have completed citizenship test in Nov 2021 and background check showed "completed" at that time. Today it changed to In Progress.

Still waiting....nothing since they received my FP back in August ordered GCMC notes.nothing...Friends telling me yours is on "special" processing that might take up to 2 years!

that probably means that it expired and they will do it again now because they could not schedule you for oath before it expired.

1- did you ordered GCMS notes
2- what was the Validity of your criminality check
3- was your DM was before criminality expired or after if after were you asked to do a new criminality check?

9 Mar 2021 - Background Verification Complete
25 May 2021 - Citizenship test scheduled for
22 June 2021 - Citizenship test status has been updated to completed
4 Aug 2021 - Physical presence, Prohibitions and language skills updated to completed

When I checked my ECAS tool a month later it showed DM.

Since then, I haven't received anything. It's officially 8 months since my test status changed and I never received an update.

Is this normal?

I m in the same boat. Test on 15th june. Dm on july 29th n no real update after that

This situation in Ukraine, albeit terrible, it won't help the applications move along any faster. That will only slow it down as the gov is talking about taking Ukraine refugees.
