press 2120
2 when they ask for UCI number
then 1 when you hear Afghanistan
then 2 then 0
it only takes less than a minute and you can try multiple times. Usually after 4-5 attempts I was in the wait line

Great! I’ll give it a try, I guess they replaced the Afghanistan speech with Ukraine now xD

I did, and even sent the flight schedule as proof in the first reply. The response was the automated 2nd portal email with credentials, doesn't look like they even saw it. I logged into the portal while still outside the country, but only checked the "I'm here" box once I was inland. Now I don't know if they're scrutinizing my application because of that or if it's a normal processing time.
