Is it okay to leave Canada while the application is in progress then? Based online, we just need to make sure of the PR status. Was wondering if you still needed to be in Canada to complete the process even if the rest of the steps are being done online.

Nope, even you can take citizenship from outside. Having said this it is not good to spend majority of the time outside. Small vacations are perfectly OK.. my two cents

Got a question, we are a family application (Me, my wife and 2 kids), received test invitation on Feb 16 for my self only, my wife's BGC completed since Dec 06 and didn't yet receive it. Is this normal that 1 applicant receives invitation for test and other still not? shouldn't the processing for family be together?

Yup it is quite normal if you see applicants between Jan - July 2021

Yeah time flies lol and thank you! I applied in December 2021 because I met eligibility in November but I messed up and applied online (should have of done my research lol) oh well too late now. I got my AOR in February 17 but comparing myself to other online applications I'm gunna be waiting a long while for my citizenship test and background check to be completed unless IRCC magically decided to speed up or change.

Yeah time flies lol and thank you! I applied in December 2021 because I met eligibility in November but I messed up and applied online (should have of done my research lol) oh well too late now. I got my AOR in February 17 but comparing myself to other online applications I'm gunna be waiting a long while for my citizenship test and background check to be completed unless IRCC magically decided to speed up or change.

Should we have applied via paper method to have it processed faster? I know we can't send another application if we already submitted online right?

Yeah paper applications at this time are processed faster. It's too late to apply by paper now because then you have to withdraw the current application (you might not get full refund because you have AOR and they started processing your current online application) and then you have to start waiting again for the AOR for your new application. In my opinion it's not worth applying again, you would be wasting time and money at that point. Also IRCC are very inconsistent, they might change quickly so can't really trust. We should have of done our research before we submitted our online application but it's fine, I guess we just have to be patient

I passed the test, wife still preparing. Does my family application (including children) processing stop until wife also completes her test? Is it also dependent on her test result?
