Yes, you had to extend your passport first because your status cannot be issued beyond the validity of your passport.
You need to create new application and pay the application fee to get a new work permit
Hey on what basics did u apply for bridging work permit,?
How did you get hold of them. What did you dial to get an agent. Did you already have TFN or just UCI?
i had tfn
But it doesnt matter
U just enter uci
And just when you confirm uci after pressing 1
Dial 320 in one go
It will take you there
I wont work in a first couple of tries
But you will reach the agent if you are willing to try multiple times a day.
I called them like 6 times in 2 days and it worked for me on 2nd day.
Its just a matter of how busy they are

Same 12:40 EST. Stuck in Whitehorse virtual office!!
PLEASE SOMEONE REPLY
According to IRCC that they will process some of the applications in 2023 which is really bad.
so Applicants who got their AOR's and their file is under processing.
Do they have a chance that they might or will receive their decisions in 2023?
I am so frustrated we are waiting so long instead of IRCC fixing the wait time they are increasing it.

Hello everyone,
I applied for TR to PR on July 15th via essential non-healthcare portal but haven't received anything yet. My question is that right now I'm in Toronto and moving to Alberta, do I need to do any kind of changes with the IRCC?
You need to let them know about the change of address. Try calling the client center and ask if they can provide you a temporary application number or they can put a note on the file.

No one knows that for sure, because they haven't published any guidelines on how they will select the applicants for 2022 and 2023.
But that can be a legit theory, we have to wait and see

I haven't applied for BOWP yet but I need to since my WP expires on Oct 2022.
But I know that you need to have a passport with expiry date later than your current status, AOR, and a current valid status to apply for the BOWP.
Hi all, I called IRCC today and they said a officer is working on my background check currently and this is my last step to be finished. So anyone has idea about how long it takes to finish the background check? Thanks so much!
May I know what you able to see right now in GC key account? I think my file is also on same stage so just willing to know.
Any body with tfn starting XE 00254?
