BREAKING NEWS: Canada increases target to 432,000 immigrants in 2022 under Immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024Canada has set an even higher bar, as it will look to welcome 451,000 new immigrants by 2024. In a statement to CIC News, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser explained the rationale for the new levels plan.
And whats with the news guys…..
It says that only 20k applicatiosn were left in Dec 2021
And how the fuck
They are still left with like 72000 applications ?
Ok so we have to admit that ircc cant publish false data.
So some theories say that maybe tr2 pr will end in 2023
Like they will open tr2 pr in 2022 to accept 40k applications
Bcz technically they have to complete 4,32,000 of the applications in 2022.
And then they will open tr2pr again in 2023 to accept the last 32k applications for completing rest of their targets.
Thats all theory
You never know
What these guys have in mind
Nope, it's weird that they would start working on criminality before actually making the application permanent, but not that I could do anything about it.

The official figures from canada.ca state 40,000 and 32,000 for 2022 and 2023 for "Federal Economic Public Policies". If you click on the link next to it that says "2", you'll see the details in the footnote that show that they're talking about the TR2PR of 2021. This guy explains things better in his video

Yeah bro that was a very good explanation. Thanks for that. But i am so disappointed from ircc after this news. Thats doesnt seem fair.
like at start pf febthey said they are gonna process applications to make wait times go normal by end of year.
i dont see any progress.
Like bro they only processed 16k applications in 2021 . Thats pathetic

I know, bro! The numbers don't really add up in my books. TR2PR had around 84,000 applications if I'm not wrong and 11,500 PRs were issued by the end of October. Obviously more were issued between November till date and yet they're still left with 72k? I'm as disappointed as you are. Considering their aim to issue 1,47,000 PRs by quarter-end this year and the pause on Express Entry and other streams, the only way to achieve 435,000 this year is via backlog (which is at 5,29,000) but they still won't be able to finish TR2PR?
I guess there's nothing we can do about it and that TR2PR WP's will be extended to push the remaining applications over the period of 2022-2023.
One thing I came to know about the news. They are going to process Tr2Pr applications by 2023. Not even by end of this year! So we all have to wait more eventually.

That was the worst news from IRCC.
Just bcz of their 2022-2023 plan they decide to process applications in that way
Like srsly…….
Now where are those 500 people who were hired to process applications
And what about the $85 million budget that was allocated towards the immmigration
And the better client experience we all are getting is ridiculous
