Hi You have to start with NNAS first to evaluate your credential from India. I doubt GNM nursing from India would be recognized as not even comparable to LPN in Canada. Seniors please advise on this as wellHi , I need your guidance actually in December 2021 I moved to Canada & I have studied 3 year course general nursing and midwifery course in India and I want to become RN in Canada. Except Ontario, all provinces of Canada require you to submit test result at NNAS stage. Is the English test result require before NNAS process?
Nope. You still need to provide evidence of language proficiency but you will be given options either by taking recommended additional studies in English speaking environment or attending IELTS/CELBAN tests.Do you mean Ontario don’t want any English test requirements??
I think, having passed NCLEX only gives you
Waiver for education requirements ,you still need to meet safe practice requirements.
Can you confirm this? As the above article says it's not required any safe practice period?
If so is 400 hours mandatory? as mentioned in the CNO website
