Man, I basically interviewed for one of the top 5 companies for a supply chain job yesterday in Alberta yesterday. If I get that, I'm moving for sure. That's why im praying for that shit lol

Yep, got a Canadian degree. Let me emphasize, it's almost impossible to get through the first stage or automated system without Canadian/Anglo credentials (for entry-level). Higher up, it's less relevant

Pgdm or masters ,yeah I don't have that I only have degree from US and I have only 3 yrs of exp (in supply chain)don't know whether they will consider it

Just get some certifications, you will be fine

Again like Cscp ,CPIM ,Cltd or in analytics.

Hard to say without knowing your history but if you want to get a Supply Chain job then CPIM is always the best. If you want analytics specifically then maybe look at Tableau/PowerBI certifications

I am surprised you guys are in Detroit when I visited there looked like a ghost town. I know it is a Mechanical engineering hub but still looked very creepy for me.

There are parts of Detroit that would make good material for a North Korean propaganda film about how America has entered some apocalypse. You don't go to those parts unless you want to get shot. But downtown is good enough and most parts of metro Detroit/suburbs are pretty livable. The sun hides and you'll walk out to a frosty car and wet/snowy/slushy weather for a half a year though. That was really depressing for a good few months when I first moved here from the south in winter lol

No in my previous company they have quotas for diversity they hire only minority for certain positions, when I say minority it includes LGBTQ ,Black,Hispanic (both men and woman) and not Asian/Indians/white/Arabic (men) woman are always welcome.

I know a dumbfuck in my uni ,she didn't know any shit and she got a job in coco cola mainly because they want to fulfill diversity quora on top of that she got 75k in Houston which is a good pay and work from home even before pandemic.

Yeah I like how we brown skinned are not considered as a diverse hire. TCCC have entire department for diversity/inclusion hiring mentoring stuff.
