no no I am PR and currently inside Canada

Any status for your frnds PR stamping?

PR Stamping will be 3 weeks. Workpermit and Vistor visas will be in 3 days.
I guess there is a huge work load for IRCC, otherwise we would have received Passports back in 3 to 5 days of time.

From Jan20th till today so many stampings are pending from India. Not sure what is the workload for them, My frnd Jan19th submitted he got the Passport back on 9th.

You mean sent on 19th or "under process at IRCC" from 19th? Also from which place your frnd sent the passport? Mine was picked up by bluedart from mumbai on 31st, but is under process at IRCC from 3rb feb. I have a ticket for my wife on 18th feb thats why need some input.

Same here send my husband passport it is still in process from 28 Jan still no update from them. His flight is on 19 feb.
