December 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi All,

Hope your application is processing good. I just have a quick question. Me and my wife are eligible for citizenship. I know currently for family application IRCC is accepting only paper applications.

However some people are also suggesting that we can apply online with two applications i.e. one online application for me and a different online application for my wife.

I would like to know if someone has actually done this? ( filing two separate online applications instead of one paper application)

You cannot connect or link your citizenship application to CIC account (Where you applied for PR or any Canada visitor visa).
To track or check status of citizenship application use below two methods.

Old Tracking system (Fill in your personal details as requested)
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas

New Tracking system (You have to register first with application number and other personal information)
https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
