@stirredo Just because one is self aware of some of the negative perceptions of their culture doesn't mean that have an inferiority complex. In fact, I respect them more. It means they are usually well traveled and have experienced different cultures.

But that became common knowledge, specially during pandemic. Several act like they are spoiled, and just because they pay you for the food or service the store provides, that you should become their personal servant and cater to them completely.

It's not fraud, it's more like misrepresentation but not enough to be illegal or fraudulent. Applying for SOWP in the initial SP application lowers the chance of approval because 1)your spouse coming = less home ties/more chance of staying over illegally 2) your financial status may not be strong as you claim. So what people are doing is coming over first and then inviting spouses later which seems to be a loophole
Usually Master's/PhD face no issues in getting SOWPs but diploma/certificate people do
I guess it’s in the idea that, they planned on moving as a whole family from the start, but applying as a family causes more rejection, since to an officer, it’s more likely you plan on staying. While applying as single and then applying for spouse is more guaranteed, but it was done to bypass officer evaluation.

haha ircc should cancel them all and refund the app fees. IRCC should scrutinize each doc and do an intense background check before reaching a decision
