did any of you sent your passports to ottawa for stamping? How many days will it take? They received mine Jan 17. Until now no update

Hello. If you sent your passport to ottawa and urgently need it now, you can call the IRCC number to request them. But they will only do it with valid reason & proof. I followed their instructions today and within an hour, I got the approved message & counterfoil. They also told me they are shipping my passport today. I will try to track the passport later or tomorrow. Best of luck everyone!

glad it worked for you, i have inter province travel this weekend - they refused to accelerate it, now taking a train instead. i had called them multiple times and requested on this number 1-888-242-2100

Maybe because you don’t generally need a passport to travel inter province?

airlines wont let me board with India govt issued ID proof other than passport, i already checked with porter and air canada

The processing time increased from 143 to 156 days! It takes now more than 5 months to approve a sticker for someone who already been checked and aporoved to stay. Seems that processing inland visas are slowed, as they are busy with other streams.

I remember traveling between provinces using a provincial ID that any temporary residence can get from registery offices.
