Can anyone advise that how long usually does it take to get citizenship certificate after oath ceremony? can I apply for urgent passport processing after getting citizenship certificate. I need to travel for job purpose after one month of the ceremony. Do I have to book my flight to show travel evidence to passport officer? If this will not work I have to make other arrangements well in advance.

U can apply for urgent Passport (u get it in a day) as soon as u get your Citizenship certificate. However, getting the certificate in time is a challenge (as per forum). It will be a good idea if you ask the respective officer to expedite the process on sending the certificate. having pre booked flights handy can add weightage to your request.

All above info is based on the forums and posts. I have no personal expereince.

A little update. All items were marked complete on Jan 5th. Jan 17th I got invited to oath ceremony for Feb. 5th. Now waiting on the invitation email for instructions
