I have one question please. The application ( online) had fields to capture " previous passport details". Would this be the Indian passport or Canadian one? I have an old expired Canadian one and obviously an old Indian one. Now I'm confused which passport that form is referring to.

You do not need to submit the work/employment letter to apply for OCI.

Yes it came in yesterday.

I uploaded my employment confirmation letter (standard issues by my company) to the OCI website.
It is part of the "required documents" list when you submit the application on the OCI website.

In the employment section, there's no option for unemployed in the drop down menu in the OCI form. Which option should an unemployed person choose?
