Asking this again. Any information will be appreciated.
Hey! There is a dedicated thread for Portal email. Ask it there too. You may get quicker response.

Hi,
You might already have the answer in different thread.
In my case, once I received eCOPR, my status in GCKey changed to “approved”. In PR portal, my photo and address are still “in review “ and I’m waiting for PR card.

Thanks. That means I have to wait till eCOPR. Anyways, their PDF says application was approved. So I assume that should be a proof and I can enjoy a bit.
Anyone from October getting approvals or updates anymore? Looks like IRCC is done working on October for the time being

No updates

That’s what I thought! They have switched their attention to the backlog, which is absolutely necessary. But I would appreciate to see some load management so nobody else has to wait for a year or two while they settle their backlogs.
Stay strong Folks and keep updating your fellow applicants if you get any updates on your file through call centre or your cases get settled. Thanks!

Sometimes it's in your ecopr. You can get that when you are speaking with an IRCC agent too

I have never been able to connect to IRCC customer care (1 (888) 242-2100) on phone. Any advise when to call and what number to call?

Same number. No secret honestly. Just keep trying every 20 minutes

Here is my "secret".
1. Call. When they ask for entering UCI (after language choice), press '2'. It will skip annoying UCI entering part.
2. Once you hear "Af" "gaaa" "ish" "taaaaan", press 1 and then 2 and then 0. Don't wait for them to finish the sentence. Just press. The path is basically PR -> Change in application -> Talk to Agent. It avoids stupid "Enter the application number and we will playback what you see in website" part.
3. If it goes through, you are golden. If it does not, try again.
Step 1 and 2 take less than a minute in all. So in 10 minutes you would have done 8 tries and most likely in line waiting for the agent.

Thanks, it worked for me on 1st attempt LOL
I have a new update on my file (well, sort of):
VO changed to Edmonton.
Everything else is still the same (Eligibility in progress, Medical passed, Criminality passed, Security not started). Nutshell, only the VO changed in two weeks since the last update.
Note: No GUs, no email updates.

Welcome to EDmonton (some call it Deadmonton)! Its the slowest VO in the world.
PS : I am stuck there too.
