I have a question regarding PCC. Actually, I left Canada after submitting my application for more than 6 months due to some family emergencies in India. Now, I have came back to Canada in November 2021. I still have not received any updates on my application, but do I need to apply for second PCC?

My timeline -
Application type - CEC Inland
ITA - 21st Jan 2021
AOR - 13th Feb 2021
Medicals exam passed - 12th March 2021
Biometric completed - 19th March 2021
Travelled to India due to emergency - 3rd March 2021
Returned back to Canada - 7th Nov 2021
Application status -
Eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

No, the PCC has to be valid as of the date when you submit your application.

If IRCC needs a new PCC, you will be informed.

I had applied for PR (EE - FSW) in February 2021. My husband is a PR holder. I am planning to apply for visiting visa. My concern is if my visiting visa gets rejected will it have any adverse effect on any visa that I apply to other countries in future?
