I don’t think there would be FSW in this quarter so I don’t wanna take any risks; will lose 5 points in March. Need to move on from this endless cycle of pseudo-optimism. IRCC doesn’t care

Hey why do you think so? I read on the CIC news that the current backlog is just 119k apps, and iRCC is able to process 45k apps per month. Dont you think the backlog will be cut in half by JAN end itself?

I used to think so until recent data showed that the FSW backlog in December was more than that of October (and draws didn’t happen). There’s absolutely no logic to this whole thing

I used to think so until recent data showed that the FSW backlog in December was more than that of October (and draws didn’t happen). There’s absolutely no logic to this whole thing

But the total Backlog was reduced by 28k in december

If you do not have a ITA / App in progress then make Canada a second or even third / fourth choice... Its not going to have draws in coming 3 months or more.

Definitely saw it coming at the turn of the new year; so i had to exploit other options. I need to be out of my country this year. It’s crazy here man

Its a speculation. Canadian immigration authorities have been asked by Canadian prime minister to prioritize removing the backlog.

45 is everything from refugees, to parents. Express entry is usually 12k-16k
